Bent rear-entry dropouts on bianchi pista... solution?

Bent rear-entry dropouts on bianchi pista... solution?
Hi all,
I just purchased a used 2003 bianchi pista - was used on a velodrome by prior owner, not the street, and has "never been wrecked".
the first time i removed the rear wheel, i noticed that the dropouts were bent inward. as you can see in my pics (below), the bottom arm is bent inwards just a bit further than the top. i've inspected the areas for cracks and could find none (above the paint).
this bike uses Reynolds 520 double butted CrMo steel. i've read that it's fine to bend steel back into place... is that the solution here?
and also... what might have caused this? is this normal wear for track dropouts? the guy who sold it to me was still riding the stock bianchi wheelset on this, so i don't think it was caused by rear wheel miss-spacing... though perhaps i'm wrong?

Bending it back would be the solution. Check out the following link for some info on proper alignment while doing so.
