More info about my $10 Raleigh Professional...
OK, so I was looking the bike over when I got home last night. All of the components are Campagnolo, except the handlebar and bar post, which are both Cinelli.
The wheels have Campy axles, with Mavic Pro rims, and are finished off with Cyclepro 300 gram tubed tires.
The frame, while having some rust on it, is very solid, and has the serial number (I think, it's kinda rusty down there) of D(??) E 000376.
Yeah...and I tried to take photos with my phone, but have yet to figure out how to post them on a website...that's the only thing resembling a camera that I own.

That's not a problem - it's getting it OFF of my phone that is the problem.

I dunno - I'm guessing those are 0's...perhaps it's just E 0376? That'd mean that it was made in Ireland, March '76, right?

I believe yours is a 1970, built in Worksop - early in the year. What does your fork look like? Does it look like all one piece, or does it have a crown that is distinct from the arms?

Yes, I have one with the sticker. There were supposedly 500 in the original batch of brown and gold ones, probably sold for a few years. Carlton had used the fastback stay design prior to bringing out the 70 Pro.
I doubt it would exist on a repaint.

I'd put the lid on speculation until we see photos of this thing...

The 69 was white with wrap around seat stays and Weinmann brakes, the 70 was brown and gold with fastback stays and the new Campagnolo brakes. I believe the stem on the 70 was a 3ttt, and the bars GB, at least on mine they are.
I have one of each.

Out of curiosity, what's the letter on the serial on your '69 style bicycle? Mine has an "E", which makes me suspect that calendar year and model year did not correspond. Also, does your '70 style have a Cinelli style fork?

Don't have the 69 handy, its down in my storage, but here's a pic when I finished it. It and the 70 have the Cinelli style fork; the 70 has a chrome crown, otherwise, neither frame has any chrome.

btw - is that the original paint? Hard to tell for sure from the pictures, but it seems in remarkable condition if it is.

The white is the original paint. Came from ebay a little rough, rubbed it out, touched it up and replaced some decals. New seat, bar tape, cables and rebuilt wheels as clinchers.

The bike is definitely repainted. Going on components (which I realize can be changed out), it's at least a Mark IV, and is probably a Mk V - Campy/Mavic wheels, and campy brake sets, which weren't on the originals. I'd hazard a guess that it's as old as 1974, but doubtfully older. I did post the serial #'s, and will hopefully be able to get pics up tomorrow.

Most 1970's were the MkII limited-edition model.
That said...does it have a fastback cluster?

If you're talking something that looks like this:
https://velospace.org/node/1962
Then no. Close, but the rear drops don't go all the way to the top. It DOES have an integrated clamp though.
The frame, incidentally, looks identical to this (thanks Sheldon...)
Actually, the entire bike looks identical - the only differences are a different Brooks seat and white bar tape. Same colors and markings, same chain, gears and cranks, even the same pedals and leather clips. It doesn't, however, have the reflectors, nor the pump. Like I said, I'll try to get pics tonight.

It looks just like that - in fact, the only difference between that and mine is (again) the missing stuff, and the seat.
The thing is so original that I'm tempted to think that it's a Mk V, simply because of the mavic tubbie rims. This thing even has the original campy brake pads.
It also has (and I know its a repaint, but oh well) the bronze outlines on all the lugs (and identical lugs)...
Did Raleigh use other shaped lugs for different models?
