I like them bright and pretty.
Some people said the coloured ones have less grip. I don't believe.

Dude, you are on a roll! I was using colored tires, but gave up on them. Too hard to find replacements to match when you need them and for a good price. The black GP 4000s is plentiful and available discounted. I have started going with colored rims instead. Ha! Take that.
On the other hand modern colored tire rubber formulations should be every bit as good as black.

black. tires should be black, unless you have a classic that would have come with whitewalls, then get that.

White tyres. Makes perfect sense.

nah, coloured tyres went out of fashion about 10 years ago
What's "in" now (and has been for a while) are all-black tyres with bold white letters (or numbers)

yes, colored tires were sort of the rage in the middle late 1990s, particularly after some green tubular Victorias won Paris Roubex. I have used some colored tires to pick up on the color of the lettering on my rims. The color or brightness of a colored tire changes with dirt and water. I don't think that there is any difference in adherence.

Colored tires ... I say 'yay'. Having said that the next set of tires will be black GP4000s.

Tires should always be black, or black with tan/brownish sidewalls for classic bicycles.

Girlfriend has colored Serfas, they get dirty, look nasty. I give it a solid no, unless its just going to sit and look pretty somewhere. Black tires are low maintenance, and they really look good if you build the rest of the bike around the idea that the tires/wheels are going to be black, maybe silver accents depending on spokes/rims.

This.
Too matchy-matchy.
If you go Conti, Black Chili is only in black tires, the compound doesn't work with the silica base used for coloured tires.

Yeah, such a small amount of colour, why bother?
Hmmm, maybe its easier to see a wonky fitting.
