What will your next bike be?
I'm sure many of us have a list of the bicycles we'd like to get one day. What's at the top of your list? What's the next bicycle you'd like to get?
Next up on my list ... a heavy-duty touring bicycle. One that I could ride on unpaved roads in places like South America. I'm thinking of something custom-built, or perhaps British.

Moving from Specialized Allez Elite to Roubaix Pro. I have upgraded a lot of things already, so will just be transferring them to the new frame, rather than buying complete bike.
$1650 from the LBS. Where will the money come from?
Time to get creative.

I just brought a Cevelo CSC-SL. Between that and my last purchase from three years ago (Seven Aerios), I am set on bikes. I have a mountain bike, which I rarely ride except when the winter weather is bad, a fixie, and a commuter (Waterford steel).
Now all I have to do is live up to the appearances of the bikes.

Hoping to find a classic Colnago frameset with a shorter top tube than my Cinelli - for a great price, of course.

Probably a Cannondale Super Six with the new D.A., 2009 model (they should be announced within 6-8 weeks).

I just got a new bike, so my next one is a ways off. If sooner, it'll probably be something like a Kona Paddy Wagon. If I can make myself wait, then maybe a Ritchey Breakaway.

In six weeks from next week, I will most likely have this:
My other option is a 2008 Trek Madone 5.1 (or 5.2, if I want to hold out a little longer).

I have no current plans, but in terms of need: A better utility bike. Perhaps a Surly LHT.

Probably another internet buy when needed. I just have no compulsion to upgrade over steel/aluminum ultegra 9 speed. Maybe [definately] I am just cheap but It seems to suit my purposes just fine.

Specialized Tricross Comp with an Xtra-cycle. I could use a more convenient utility bike... the single speed thing works well, but I can't carry anything.
But once the 2009 Tarmacs are released, I shall purchase myself another one of them. Perhaps the Pro... hopefully SRAM Force is an option. I'll look into a System 6 as well, maybe switch it up this year.

Once I get a job after graduating in the spring, one of my first graduation presents to myself will be a full carbon race bike, decked out with Record, DA or RED; I just have to test ride a bunch of bikes before I can pick one for sure. I am leaning towards Cervelo; their bikes are straight up sexy.

I think I may need an urban camouflaged commuter bike when my office moves. No more bringing the bike indoors.
So, I may pick up a cheap frame, spray paint it some god awful color, hang a few decent no name components, secure it with security bolts and scewers, and pick up a massive ulock. I be a wee bit paranoid.
If that is not needed I want an extracycle or a big dummy.

Not sure.
Maybe a new bikes direct tt, cross, or mtb? Or possibly a craigslist SS/FG.
No idea. I have a race bike and a backup bike and a mtb for riding around campus and throwing on clipless pedals when I go ride mtb. I don't have the space for a fourth bike, besides I'm actually pretty content with all the bikes I have. I might buy a set forward seat post and another saddle if I do TT's anytime in the near future.
I honestly don't think I need another bike right now (gasp), if I start riding more mountain then I'll sell my mtb and buy a bd bike to replace it, but other than that I think I'm pretty set!

I am trying to decide on a winter/commuter bike to replace my current MTB commuter. I want something built on a road frame, but I haven't decided if I want to build it as a XC or touring bike. I am looking at Soma frames.
