Cantilever rack question.
I found this front rack yesterday in the used cycling section of an outdoor store, took a gamble and it fit perfectly on my Trek 990. It even flows pretty nicely with a noname rack I bought off of CL a year or two ago. My question is, is it recommended that I buy the VO canti rack nuts and bolts, or can I just use the existing bolts?

If: (a) the bolts are properly engaged in the threads - at least ~2 bolt diameters deep into the threads, and
(ii) the current bolts/rack arrangement doesn't interfere with the movement of the brakes,I don't know if the 'correct' bolts have some sort of standoff or spacer that keeps the rack stay from interfering with the movement of the brake,
then no problem.
