WTB: Shimano Dura-Ace STI (ST-7400) Brake Lever Hoods: 7400/7402
Gang,
I have a lovely set of Shimano Dura-Ace STI shifters (ST-7400) but they came to me without any hoods. Clearly, that won't work.
Does anyone have a set of 7400 or 7402 hoods in black in NOS or very good shape? Or if anyone has any good leads on a set, I would be deeply grateful to know more!
Thank you!

Good luck in your quest. No doubt you've seen the new set on fleabay...for over $100!
I'm looking also, but am a bit better off than you, as my shfiters at least had existing hoods.
So, in desperation, I'm trying to salvage them...and have tried this repair method.

I didn't know of the restoration method, 67tony so thanks for that!
I've still got some time so hopefully I won't have to go the eBay route. I'm hoping someone unearths a set, remembers this thread and takes pity on me.
