Mammoth Gran Fondo - Next Weekend

So I am doing the Medio 70 mile ride next weekend, and I am just curious, do you know how long you have to finish the course? I did 70 miles today in 5 hours of riding and 6 total (an hour stopped). I am hoping not to be dead last in this.

I am assuming this is on the low end of average, but I have never done a ride like this before. Whats it like out there.

Never heard of it.
sounds interesting.

Right up to the point where it starts at 8,074’

RIDE DETAILS
  • 70 miles
  • 3,601 feet of climbing
  • 8,074 feet elevation at start/end of race
You have a nice time.
I’m sticking with the Sacramento Century on Oct 1st.

If it is high altitude, and hot like right now, with lots of climbing, "hoping not to be dead" is all I would ask for.

But 3,601 feet of climbing over 70 miles isn't so bad.

Except for that one bump 2/3 in, all of the climbing will be at the end.
