Help me get my old login back.

I can finally play along with my lowly Trek 400 - nothing special except for the fact that it's the first bike I've ever completely overhauled by myself, though I had plenty of help from 9volt here on the forums.
It got up to the 40s one day a few weeks ago so I took it out for it's maiden voyage - I've rarely experienced such a sense of satisfaction as I did when I rode it for the first time, it was really cool.

Also noticed you're in Oshkosh, I suggest and consider joining the C&V fun at the next Dairyland Dare. Cheers-

Thank you for the kind words. I'm planning on doing Race the Lake later in August, but the GF looks like lots of fun too.

Maximizing the leeway provided by @CV-6, this is mrs non-fixie's Olympique Type Tour de France.
I actually got her to ride it, and her only complaint was that the handlebars were too narrow. As she's never ridden drop bars more than five yards before, I consider this a major breakthrough. (The bars are very narrow, BTW, even by vintage drop bar standards.)

A quick experiment with a couple cans of paint on my beater. Will get more or less the same paint scheme done professionally one day. Or maybe not.

This bike was made the same year NASA was established. Hence the bag. Missing it's sweet headlight in this photo though. It was away being chromed.

This is an old Microsoft Power Toy that they abandon and the open source pick up. It's a slick little resizing tool. It's one of those programs I install whenever I reload my PC.

1997 R800 CAD3 Viper Red fade to Speed Yellow
I posted this before in the Vintage Cannondale thread. Seeing all of the pretty "red & pink" bikes I thought I would show this one off again. The story about it can be found in the link above.
