Long time biker addict here
I must say, you guys are smart when it comes to bikes. As my post history shows, I just went through some madness putting on fenders. You figured it out, while the Schwinn Bikes support person finally said to just go to a bike shop…after mailing me a fender instead of four ‘correct’ fender braces, and they were out of stock of braces, so I posted here instead of paying for a bike shop to figure it out, and it turned out all parts were correct but the instruction manual was completely wring!
I’ve been biking for years. For 14 years, I biked to work, two miles both ways, and I do a TON of biking due to Pokemon Go. Last week I biked 109 miles just because of Pokemon!
I’ve had a drivers license since 1995…and I’ve never owned a vehicle! I ALWAYS use a bike or public transportation.
I always try to stick with single speed bikes due to them being so much easier to fix when a tire goes flat, and it’s great prep for when I enter the Senior Olympics in five years!
