Maybe lower the stem 6 inches and it won't look so bad.

Um, me. I've had some amazing help from BF members, and I'd be more than happy to pay it forward. I've never packed a bike but I could take it to a bike shop for packing.

RE: Cinelli Special Corsa

Hmmm? Interesting the post has now been flagged for removal? Wonder if its a scam? I didnt think the price was too far off from reality with the prices of the 50th Gruppo skyrocketing past $5K I remember seeing a 50th gruppo numbered in double digits selling for $15K about a decade ago. Paint job and restore with chrome was probably over $3K. Frameset $2500.00 and the difference is for the fancy scary photo backdrop - priceless!

Did Jim Merz also build these framesets? I was told that Yoshi Konno from 3Rensho built the original Allez framesets. Either way I dont understand how all of these beautiful bikes are ending up at Goodwills.

I've only been told (I have no direct knowledge)....Jim Merz did design work on the frame after he moved over to working at Specialized. During the 1970's/early 80's bike boom.... There were allot of these built. I don't think Jim held a torch to this one! Condition seems very good for it's probable 35+ years age.

Nice Turbo , not mine and I don't know the owner . Owner says 21" looks bigger to me . Note the lack of a pump peg . Friendly price .

Yeah I was thinking the same thing for its age. I dont have any need for a touring bike but I do appreciate how many customers I had that this was their dream bike back in the day! Based on the attention to wrapping the TT to protect it from the Zefal clamp tells me eveything I need to know about the owner. Some one is sure to get a great deal on this!

ROSS SIGNATURE VINTAGE BICYCLE - $275 (Clermont, FL)

I am selling this bike because I have no room for it. It was my grandfather’s bike and was hardly ever used. It is in great shape. All of the bike parts are original. I am asking for $275 or best offer.

I thought good and hard and I connected a great BF member with a great bike so I am living vicariously through that! Thank you and I will let you know if I change my mind on it!

My wall beauty Bottecchia asked me why I don't just build her up.

This post reminds me how much I miss the simplicity of the Huret ciclometers. Odometer and trip distance perfectly silent so all you could hear was the hum of your regina chain and Clement Criteriums singing on the pavement....

Nishiki Prestige Bicycle 80's Vintage - $100 (Chandler)

Mid 80's Nishiki Prestige bicycle. I think it's a 24" frame (measured from center of bottom bracket to top of seat tube.) My 6'4 son rode this.

Has a flat tire so no test rides. I do have a tube for it. Come check it out and decide. First $100 takes it.

All sales are cash, local, and as-is.

Thanks for looking!
