In studying post #6196, I became aware of Beaver and Erie Canal.
When was the last time I learned something from one of DougRNS's posts?

I added a behind the saddle bottle set up so I don't have to ration anymore. I get to try it out tomorrow.

Shopping with wife, mowing of lawns, waiting on rug delivery, and installing saddle comprised my day.
Tomorrow is saddle inauguration day.

I neither. I had planned to visit the local butcher who refurbs bikes on the side and had a gorgeous Serotta hanging in the window the other day, but I got tied up and never made it. Maybe today, I want to take a picture before it gets sold. It’s too small for me but it piqued my interest enough that I might have considered coming out of cycling retirement if it was my size. I mentioned it to my wife and her immediate response was “You don’t ride anyway”.
So judgey.

I told my kids I would pay for them to go to any school but Baylor. Full disclosure - my wife and I went to the other “Christian” schools.

So I think the cause of my leg pain is the actual aircraft it’s self and might not be bike related at all.
First the 737 is extremely cramped, and if I adjust the rudder pedals for practical use my legs are in a constant bend. If I don’t keep my feet on the Pedals, then right where I would put my feet on the floor, it’s elevated at an angle so my leg is bent at the knee but it’s putting pressure on my knee.
We took a break today and trying to get out of the seat the pain was immediate and it hurt a lot, it was in the exact same place I felt when I rode yesterday. I tried to find a solution but I don’t have really any options. The second have of the sim my captain was flying and I knew I wouldn’t be touching the controls at all so I slid my seat back to keep my leg straight.
I did a light load ride tonight. First 5 miles there was no pain and then it started to build. I stopped and raised the stem, seemed like it helped but again after about 3 miles the pain started but not as strong. I slid the seat aft about 1.5 mm and tried again, similiar result.
I found if I focused on keeping my leg in a certain position it wouldn’t bother me at all, and that seemed to work well so I joined C pace. No pain until there was pain, I tried to focus on leg placement but it didn’t seem to matter, I stopped when I realized my right leg was doing almost all the work.

A bottle launcher? I couldn't use one because I frequently hang my butt off the back of the saddle. I tried a handle bar bag for extra bottles but didn't like the added weight on the bar, plus the loss of hand position with the bag I have. I tried carrying a bottle in my pocket but it's annoying even when empty. To me, the best compromise if I need extra water is a 70 oz Camelbak. I don't use it often these days and many roadies scoff but it works.

Harsh. P&R, but it doesn't appear from afar that they do much to promote bears, either. Do bears even live there?

I'm having one of those mornings where I'm dragging and I can't decide if that means that I should take a day off of the trainer or if it means that I should definitely hit the trainer.
Maybe another latte will bring more insight.

I'm not especially sensitive to saddle position as I tend to move around anyway, certainly not 1.5mm, which is 1/16 inch.
