Addiction 2021.4

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I get to spend a little more time with my son today, my only offspring, before he relocates to the Denver area. It feels different than when he went off to college because then it was always assumed he’d be coming back home eventually, whereas now . . . .

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.. it's been a rough one here. We lost my Aunt (Dad's younger sister) Tuesday night she lost her battle with cancer. So funeral tomorrow. My daughter just found out she has covid. So no visit with them today.
My dad is doing well with the kemo treatments. He actually seemed like his old self yesterday.
Gotta get caught up now.

lol a Kaiser? You are glutton for punishment! Check out, Cold War motors, on you tube. Guys name is Scott. He daily drives a kaiser/Frazer in the summer. And does some unbelievable sheetmetal work. There is an older guy in his town that has a collection of kaiser and he tours the collection.

Yep, we spent half the session just chatting. He’s a good guy, though.

I sympathize. Only daughter moved overseas right after college in 2013 and returned this summer… to Seattle.

Do doctors find information submitted by their patients to be helpful in improving their practice? I'm happy to help, where needed.

Did you ever get a satisfaction survey from a medical practice?

I got a survey from the stumble bums who are going to do my discogram and I ripped them a new one.

I'm talking about medical discussions of ailments and treatments, not whether or not the nurse was courteous.
