Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It's been a while since I got passed by a female. Granted, I rarely see a female on a (proper) bicycle . . .

I went for a ride with 5 others today. All way faster than I am. Well, 2 were on e-bikes, one was Pizza Guy, one was a 35 year old speedster, and the other was a woman who is one of the fastest climbers I know, male or female. What the hell am I doing with these people on a hilly ride?
Lucky for me they waited after the climbs and seemed to enjoy the more casual pace. Fun day and no a-fib yet.

It is not appropriate to wear anything but religious headgear indoors.

Like they’re going to figure it out?

I had something like that with a loose saddle clamp bolt and I’ve also had funny clicks from spoke crossings after riding through sandy puddles.

My breakaway makes a clicking noise when the down tube clamp is loose.

Always worth checking unless it’s not a breakaway.
