Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Knicked myself with the chisel this morning. Listening to Dickens while woodworking. I won't make that mistake again. I will call off my afternoon ride in order to let it heal shut, before exertion. Thankfully I got the tetanus shot with the amputation. It should last awhile.

oof. slightly overdid it on the weekend. 60km of cycling followed by 2 1/2 hours of lawnmowing on Saturday. Nice tiring 22km hike up a mountain and back on Sunday. very stiff today and my quads are not happy with me. and now it's Monday. still it was a good weekend and I need to do more of it.

Of course am tops for altitude but that does not count. Sad.
Strava is still inactive on all of my devices. I only see a few rides from today. My total should be 191 and change but Strava is refusing to update.

The app was wonky for me a few hours ago but seems to be behaving now.

Only 170 miles from VV's stomping grounds, he should do a little bike tour over that way.

What a game, five (5) consecutive missed field goals in a row, two by the Bengals and three by Green Bay.

I’m positive he’s a sarsaparilla man. Club soda maybe. Or ginger ale, neat.

I see yours and a couple others but not datlas.

I hate to do a manual upload in case mine uploads automatically at some point.

We had teens-mid 20s (kts) out on the Bay. My people went sub-5. I doubt I could have hung.

Epic sail with the love of your life counts for a lot more than a day of riding with a bunch of sweaty old men.

Every. Single. Day.
