Derailleur modification

Is there a practical and aesthetically pleasing way to modify a (vintage era) Campagnolo Super Record, clamp-on front derailleur to accommodate a braze-on derailleur fixture?

Any creative ideas would be appreciated, if possible.

I see at least one vintage Super Record braze-on front derailleur available on ebay, so they do exist. You're likely better off obtaining one of those and selling the clamp-on one you have (or keeping it if budget is less of an issue).

During my search for a clamp on Super Record FD the trend seemed to be that the clamp ons sold for a bit more than the braze ons. You could probably sell your for enough to cover the correct braze on with a little left over.

I know and agree with the obvious option of simply procuring the proper component. My hope is that someone has figured out a modification, for the fun of it, if nothing else, that could actually work.

Anyway, just wondering if it is even possible…

The only to do it is what C9H13N is suggesting.
