Trouble getting Shapeways mount to have tension with BMC ICS Faceplate

Hello --

I purchased a Shapeways mount to connect to my single lug BMC ICS factory faceplate. The faceplate is made of aluminum. I eagerly installed my new Shapeways mount. Unfortunately, there isn't sufficient tension for the mount to stay in position. It falls and point to the ground. Because the faceplate is made of aluminum, additional tightening didn't do the trick.

Anyone have this problem and a good solution?

Thanks
