Looking for a stainless steel bike washing tub
Hello,
I've finally decided to get a separate tub in my garage where I can wash my bike. Should be reasonably high so I wouldn't have to bend over too much.
Does anybody have experience with setting up their bike-washing station? Any providers in the New York area that you would suggest? Any other solutions that might be better than this?

I can only do it inside (in my garage) so should create a workstation for that, can't let the water just wash all over the area. I found one product (called Bathtubs for Bicycles, maybe somebody has experience with them).

I don't know. But thinking about it, I kinda wouldn't mind a stock tank in my garage big enough for OA soaks and other things.

Yeah. A stock tank, and add a drain valve that you can attach a garden hose to. Just drill a hole, thread in a garden spigot and use JB Weld to seal it in place.

Ouch! Might be worth it for a bike shop that washes lots of bikes daily. I'm not spending that kind of money for personal use.
A DIY setup ought to run a small fraction of that price.

If you want stainless steel then check around locally with the big restaurants or a restaurant supply store near you and find out who in your area repairs stainless tables and other equipment or better yet someone that custom makes SS tables, shelves and other SS stuff for restaurants. Maybe they'll figure out something they can put together for you.
But be prepared to be around the price of what terrymorse linked. Unless they do have some old stuff they can put together quickly and get it out of their hair.

You're going to pay big money for new stainless.
Start checking restaurant or industrial auction sites for food service/grocery/food processor auctions
maybe keep an eye out on CL FB marketplace for a used SS bathtub. Metal recycling yards as well.

You don't heed a tub for washing a bike...Just use a garden hose and spray it on your lawn or driveway.

I'm hoping fredlord is referring to those old 'trough' urinals they had in old 2nd-class multi-purpose stadiums. Get a sheet metal shop to 'fold' one for you with a few drain holes to hook up and you're good to go. Cheaper than installing a whole wall full of porcelain and the individual fresh & waste piping for each.

I'm guessing if you have a garage, you'd also have a driveway, except maybe in like San Francisco. In which case just wash it on the sidewalk. Those sidewalks could use a good washing.

It's looking good but its price is a little bit extra near to me. You should find it in your local area. Hope there you will find a stainless bicycle at an affordable price.

Find a going out of business dog washing spa. They have large dog washing tubs. You may have to remove the front wheel.
