Hey, my intro from SF Bay Area....prev NY
Hey all, This is Ed, a multi surface pedaler. 56yr old. Live in SF Bay Area. I am turtle pace.... I ride all surfaces slowly. dirt, gravel, road, in order of preference. over the lockdown I started to learn how to wrench my own bikes and have the tools. It has been fun. I have failed and have succeeded. now I like to help friends with basic tweaks.
I am an industrial designer by trade, so not unfamiliar with mechanics but bikes have so many variables and dont have any early years experience, yet pedaling since 12yrold. and dirt bikes and road motorcycles.
Currently in my corral....Ibis Hakka MX - 2020 [gravel], Spot Rocker- 2021 [hardtail MTB], Santa Cruz Tallboy LTc -2015 [ full suspension ], Lemond Sarthe - 2005 [ steel road bike].
Looking at bike forums for mechanical tips and great rides in my area. Good riding to you all!
