Also the "motor" sweeks was talking about was you. It was a joke to lose some weight from yourself rather than a couple grams here and there on a really lightweight bike.

I already bought both the eebrakes and the long arms replacement. Looking for tools to remove their retaining rings on the axles.

There is no weight to be saved. Look elsewhere on the bike.

I also don't relate to your desire to shave this particular weight off that bike, but you did, in fact, seem to find exactly the solution intended for you, very specifically, so that's cool. I would definitely do exactly that, since there's extraordinarily little market for light mid reach calipers.

Thanks for your support. Brompton bike is very hot in UK, EU ,and Asia but not in US. Ciamillo LEKKI 8 also made carbon calipers for direct fitting on Brompton, which has the same reach as mine. Since the brake cables routing of Brompton is different from mine, I cannot use those designed for Brompton.

Jagwire Elite Link is the way to go and not necessarily just weight more that they are super smooth cables and the outer casing is quite flexible and very much reusable for a long time just replace the plastic liner and even that can be more easily cleaned if you really wanted to reuse it. But yes they are quite light.
