TBC, I presume? It looks like it will be a hot one. I'll be there for my first race in the 3s.

Yes. I'm excited/nervous. I got butterflies when I saw the names in my field. I follow these teams/cyclists on twitter etc. It's intimidating!
Good luck to you. Please say hi if you see me. My team kit says The Velo and I ride a black & white sworks.

Good luck to you too. I ride with Tolero and my Cdale Evo has a mismatched blacked out fork.

I checked that race out on USAC's website - dang, I need to move to Tucson! A gazillion Master's classes! I wouldn't have to race against 41-year-old Cat 1s unless I wanted to, unlike here in Louisiana.

I probably should have registered for a masters field instead of racing pros who are 20 years younger than me lol

I've done TBC twice (2012 and 2015...I was in another, waaaayyyyy worse desert for '13 and '14). Great race, lots of fun. It may be hot during the day, but I remember Sat morning before the RR being cold as *****. Be aware.

Forecast was t-storms in the afternoon so I rushed over to the park during lunchtime for a quick VO2Max session on the TT bike, 4x5' @ 120%. It never did rain. Ended up doing another hour on the trainer after work with some SST and some 1' intervals @ 110%. Total TSS 157.

off today. i've been dreadfully tired this week and figured the extra hour of sleep was worth more than an easy spin.

Every once in awhile it's nice to go out for a ride with one gear and zero structure.

4hrs z1/2 jra, started with a frown and ended with a smile. Ran into some nice people and they kept me company on the local long climb, and then climbed it again solo just because the views are so nice.

Did 2x20 at 90%...tried to follow it up with 8x20s/10s at 160% (tabata interval). Made it through 3.5 of the 20s intervals before I lost it. Felt good overall though.

1 hr on the trainer with some 30s and 1 minute intervals, about 65 TSS, before packing up the car to drive to DFW area to visit my family. Short easy spin with some openers planned for tomorrow, road race on Sunday.

Also 1hr on the trainer, but it was easy pace, which was difficult to pull off because it was a tense as hell MSR.

7x4' hill repeats. Meant to do 6, but as often happens, I lost count. Home in time to see my wife before she left to see a client and make waffles for the kids. #masterslife

4 hours today. 4*5' ish hill repeats starting at hour 0.5, then some z2, then 4*4' ish hill repeats, then home. I always find it kind of hard to dig deep when it's <40F out.

1:40 on zwift (was going for 2hrs, but little guy woke up). starting to feel like my z2 ceiling is trending back toward where it was in the recent past, at least from how I felt at the lower end of my current tempo zone. still a ways to go though.

20' test. All-time best of 255 W, setting FTP at 242. Not spectacular in the grand scheme of things, but the trend is positive, it's the best I've recorded and I'm still quite early in my build.
