However they said they still producing the bar but unable to sell them and were unable to tell me why. I'd say a few companies have used this bar and had them rebranded.
I now own a set of perko bars 34cm c-c. And I can confirm that they are awesome. I used to have a set of alpinas for reference.

the BT sprint bars are made by BT, they only come in 36cm and although they look similar the top aero part of the bar has a slight curve to it.

edit:
this is the link to the Trigons bars, the picture is of the larger version but they have measurements and diagrams of the different sizes.

I watched those a few hours ago, very interesting that's for sure. Would have been nice to have gone a bit more in depth with how their training differs from "the norm".

I also wasn't aware how thin the skin on the walker brother disc is, seems pretty delicate.

I have always wondered what would happen if some teams had full control over what equipment they use, I know some of the big teams have one off stuff made for them and a lot of the top gear due to big bank accounts. But you do have the likes of Aus that are now using the Argon frame over the BT Edge.

Would love to see a sprint team operated in the same manner as these guys.

Anyone got any pictures of the New Zealand team sprint? They look like they had some pretty bling carbon shoes, but also looked like they didn't have toe straps on them, so was intrigued to see if I'd missed anything.

IIRC, they have some very custom things with like a single dial on the bottom to tighten. very slick looking. don't know how to find photos though.

AugustIs the Track World Championships to become a summer (NH) sport in 2023**********
I'm not sure but the UCI is combining all elite WCs into a two week period starting in 2023.
https://www.uci.org/inside-uci/press...nships-in-2023

Update: I heard that this arrangement will be every four years in the years preceding the Olympic Game - kinda makes sense although trying to get accommodation in Glasgow may be hard to find.

What you have described sounds very much like Adam Hansen the road cyclists custom carbon shoes...I wonder if he's started making them for other cyclists now...

They also sound like the shoes made for the GB track squad by Phil Burt, the physio and bike fitter, during his days with Team GB. I've seen a pair of those and they are very bling.

On a different note, those S1Neo bikes and bars look ace - does anyone have any experience of the frames?

The list does show a Japan channel with broadcast times for the WC. Maybe those stations are like Comcast in the USA - pay for the optional service or forget seeing it. I understand that those UCI
broadcast affiliates pay for blocks of races from the UCI and geoblock anyone else from watching it.

I'm planning on "cable cutting" in a few months because YouTube TV offers the Olympic Channel, NBCSports, and the Tennis Channel. By cable cutting I'm going to save around $1,000 per year. Could you somehow sign up for YouTube TV?

Dang it. Thanks for this, 700wheel. It's the first season we can't watch here in JPN. No way I can justify paying to the boss.

Looks like SRM has caught on to the short(er) crank lengths.

The Origin is now offered with lengths down 160mm, although if you opt out of the standard trilobe (170/172.5/175) size then you have to settle for non-adjustable aluminum arms.

we get geo blocked in the UK as well for about a month then we can watch the recordings on YouTube.
i just use a VPN to set my location as Hong Kong and watch the uci channel live on YouTube or watch the recordings whenever I want.

the app SetupVPN works very well on google chrome and is free on desktop.

Great find. Published just last month!

It examines the road “head below the back, crotch on the stem, and chin on the tire” sprint position that (I believe) Cav made popular but others use now.

I can’t recall ever seeing that position on the track. I believe it to be precarious due to the fixed hub bucking a rider if (s)he gets it wrong.
