Not much info on these seatposts is out there. Most of the ones you see are the Air aero seatposts. There are 4 ridges on the inside so I imagine it is pretty stiff.
This one has some pretty significant zigzagging. You could probably buff some of it out but definitely not all.

Sorry to revive a dead thread but I recently got one of these seatposts and no matter what I do or how tight I get the bottom bolt the seat spins on the "ball joint" or tilts whenever I ride, am I missing parts? If ya still have it could you post some pics of it taken apart?

^^ Above poster, it is likely it is either worn out or has been deformed, and is now not meshing properly to keep it in place.

Is that a grub screw underneath? Also, is it an interestingly machined and finished one piece post to cradle seat, or is it two piece. Looks like 1 but the gray matte alloy is definitely interestingly contrasting the polished bottom.
I wonder if there was a piece/ring in that indent.

it wasn't worn out or deformed at all until I started riding it because of how ridiculously tight I needed to get it to not move even though it ended up moving soon as I got on the bike. I just don't understand what keeps the seat from just spinning left/right I understand the set screw setting the tilt but it also doesn't stop it from just tilting back.
