Decrease the tension on your pedals so that you can clip out quicker. Unless you are doing sprints, you don’t need the tension to be high

I had the tension all the way down to its lowest. I did another trick. I got myself a pair of Speedplay Comp pedals. The difference is huge! Dual sided, no fuss trying to get the right side up, easy to decouple, just awesome! I will give away my SPD SL pedals to somebody this Christmas.
