Suntour Superbe brake stuck
rear brake is gummed up. i tried pb blaster, wd40, triflow. not budging. it's the one on the left, stays shut if you squeeze it. see how the spring is doing something strange.
i was going to dissemble the whole thing, clean and see if that helps. unless someone has a better idea?
idiot check: to dissassemble, would i unscrew those two front bolts in the second pic?

Yes , at this point disassembly would be your best bet. You may find that after loosening the front nuts that it moves freely. I would still take it apart and clean/ reassemble. I have not put any lube in my brakes when I put them back together , just don't over tighten the first nut prior to locking in the second(front) nut. They should modulate freely if assembled correctly.

The use of the zip tie in this fashion for too long seems to be asking for trouble.

The conical nut and the flat nut right behind it lock together after the caliper is perfectly adjusted. To do this, you use two wrenches at the same time, one on each nut. You can often use a cone wrench on that flat locknut and a socket driver on the conical nut. Park also makes a tool to do this and also to adjust the brakes:

Turned out to be pretty easy to take these apart. One of the springs was bent so just bent it back. Cheers
