Recumbent What IS that thing?! Recumbents may be odd looking, but they have many advantages over a "wedgie" bicycle. Discuss the in's and out's recumbent lifestyle in the recumbent forum.

Seasons Greetings and Happy Holidays

We have a family tradition of getting "CHEAP gifts" for our Christmas Eve gathering, you have to go to a "Dollar Store", can't spend more than $10.00 and get a min. of 5 gifts!! Well since even Dollar Tree isn't truly at Dollar Store anymore, it's not as easy as it sounds, especially since we try to find different things each year! We got thru a cold spell and got out on the trikes to shop. We found what we would make work, then we headed West on the Rock Island Trail and North on the Pikes Peak Greenway heading to the University Village Colorado Center and Panera Bread! Got bowl of excellent creamy tomato soup and hunk of French bread and HOT tea, YUM for lunch. After lunch, we headed North of PPGW detour trail up to Criterium Bike Shop. Well the dark clouds came in and the wind picked up so we headed south on the Pikes Peak Greenway heading towards home. We decided to stop at a convenience store for a Mega Millions ticket. On the way back down Becon St. we found a house with a massive Holiday Season Display set up, had to take a photo! Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas, have a Awesome New Year's!

Seasons Greetings to you, too, and all of my trike/recumbent friends.
