I love this! But I'd really like some Ethel Mertz to rechristen Ugly Betty

They were listed on eBay. The seller sold out but he’s going to print another run as soon as he’s back from his vacation in Portugal.

Just at opening the thread the freddy Mertz kit came to my mind, but saw, that Bianchigirll was there too. Robvolz I think such decals are cool when someone - and there are plenty of such here - can't really identify the true origin of her/his bike. Stylish, funny, and still not "yet another Colnago Super or Eddy Merckx" . Zandolval, thanks for space ghost,I loved it as a child - along Birdmaaaaaaaaaan - it gave me some inspiration how to put your decal creating method in use
I agree with you halfway.
Funny stickers are a great way to make a less serious frame Seem more prestigious upon first glance, only to get a chuckle upon close inspection.
I also think that some owners and buyers of classic bikes can be a little too serious. I have heard comments on this site on how “ that Columbus tubing sticker is too high, it’s supposed to be 3 cm below the top tube” Or “those are the wrong year cranks for that frame”
recently somebody was very proud to post their restored colnago only to be told they used the wrong decals.
I think any bike that is saved from the landfill or metal scrap yard, is lovingly built and occasionally ridden is a win-win.
I know it would kill resale value, but I have half a mind to put these stickers on my 73 Derosa.
Of course I had already ordered the proper decals before I saw these

I have a few frames that would benefit from the different sets.......now if I could only find those Crampagnolo components...

FWIW: there was a vintage English bicycle brand called - you guessed it - Mercury Cycles.
Per Wikipedia, there was also a Murray Mercury model introduced at the 1939 World's Fair in NYC and produced in one form or another for some time afterwards (into at least the 1950s).
A set of those decals on an example of either type would IMO be a hoot.
