GB 88 brakes

GB 88 brakes
So, I picked up this Raleigh Grand Prix I believe it's around a 1970 from the paint scheme, I'm curious about the brakes, it has GB "88" calipers and dia-compe levers. Are these decent brakes because at some point someone put campagnolo nuovo record derailleurs and shifters I am wondering if these brakes are of comparable quality or if they were just something laying around. Also what is this crankset

The crank is a TA specialties crank. It’s a nice crank.

Yeah, TA 3-pin, 116bcd, iirc. I have an earlier version of those brakes, and they’re decent stoppers.

...that frame is setup for center pulls. Almost all the center pull brakes from that era work well, because they are dual pivot brakes. They just take more effort in the initial setup.

the two straight lines beneath the heron on the headplate indicate a cycle not produced in the UK
this may be one of the Gazelle manufactured Gran Prix machines
remains of several transfers are visible on the seat tube
the lowest one may indicate a cycle manufactured in the Gazelle facility
only the Gran Prix model was done there and only for one year about '73-'74 IIRC

looked to date from the '73-'74 time
livery was the darkish red flambouyant with black panels and gold lining
this found puzzling as thought the fire in the Dublin facility was prior to that
report on Dublin facility fire was that it was an auld building with wood floors which had received uncounted quantities spilt petrochemicals through the years such that once the ignition began every thing went up like a roman candle
thought had read that no replacement facility was ever created

Based on appearance details I'm going to guess the age to 1972. That was the last year for the black panel on the top tube and the "script" lettering on the down tube. The bike also has a heron headbadge whereas a '71 or earlier would more likely have the anniversary headbadge.
