Edit: probably should have put in wacky thread but it isn't a bad price on a Prelude.
I suspect seller is a flipper with no ideas about bikes. Ad copy is interesting
- You can't "brake" a columbus frame even if you want to... (phew! that's good to know!)

Well maintained 70's era bike. There is a reason that these older French bikes have a following, a lively yet smooth ride. This bike rides well, shifts well, and brakes well, largely due to some upgraded parts and the 531 db tubing. Lots of clearance for fenders or using wide tires.

I'm just oogling bc I've always wanted one, but I don't have a tandem nor will I have the cash any time soon for a custom (non-tandem) frame with rear spacing to fit this hub, but I've seen a few of these come up for sale over the years and always dreamed of building a touring bike with one. I've got a NOS high flange Maxi-Car front hub that's been in need of a worthy partner for a couple years though

I'm selling my vintage torelli road bike! It's an excellent bike that has served me well for many years, and served its original owner even longer before it was gifted to me. The front wheel is no longer original as it got bent in a minor accident. And I have replaced the seat. Comes with a portable pump, and a bike lock with key.
I've personally clocked this bike at around 53 MPH downhill. It handles amazingly! I just cannot keep storing it while I travel, and it isnt a good bike for the off road areas I work in.

20 inch frame, 25 lbs as shown. . Some wear and tear, has been in storage. There is some adhesive tape on the down tube, but otherwise in pretty good condition. Reynolds 531 frame tubing, Campagnolo shifters, Shimano in the rear. Leather handle covers, and zoom in to look at the cable clamps! Would need new tires. Cables need lubricating or work.
