They Beat the Heck Out of Me Yesterday

The doc hammered away at my kidney stones yesterday, via Lithotripsy! He hammered away for an hour, and pulverized all the big ones..... I feel like I had the heck kicked out of me, didn't sleep last night, and really sore today....

Gettin old ain't for sissies.................. and, thank God for Opiods............

How big were the stones? I didn't think they did lithotripsy for stones under 5mm -- for the small ones, the cure is worse than the disease. And that's saying a lot considering how much stones hurt.

8-12mm, 6 stones. I can pass anything up to 7, but can't pass an 8...... He knew that going in! Going to do the little ones next time in about 3 months.

I have found that drinking more water and adding unfiltered apple cider vinegar to it, maybe a tablespoon per 8oz glass (adjust to suit taste) will just about guarantee you never have to endure that type of surgery again. You should drink this at least four times a day, (a 1/2 hour before each meal and bedtime) and even more if you can.
Benefits are multitude for metabolism, diabetes (type 2), cholesterol, blood pressure, muscle recovery after workouts and so much more.

Apple Cider Vinegar Benefits...The many Uses and Amazing Health Benefits of ACV.

The key is drink more water to help flush any minerals out of your system before they solidify into a big mass.

Good luck, I hope this helps you remain comfortable. The doctors won't tell you how to cure or prevent because they need your business!

I've tried all the "cures" known to man, without success during the last 50 years. Medullary Sponge Kidney is to blame, for the hundreds of stones passed or pulled, and there is no magic bullet!
