1998 Cannondale Multisport 1000 - picked it up last October from the original owner.
My first 650c bike, and they do spin up quicker!

Here's a "blonde on blonde" project frame that I've posted on BF previously, a 1950s RJR Olympic (later Bob Jackson, RIP). Still haven't thought too hard about how to build it up. It has a fairly uncommon lugset, Nervex 86bis/158 I believe, but the fork crown looks like a common-enough Vagner DP. Long 44.5 mm chainstays, 114 mm spacing on the rear, 66 mm brake drop for 700c rims, enough clearance for 650B x 42 tires, though the brake reach would be 85 mm. So probably 700c x 38 mm, with either a Sturmey-Archer rear hub or spread the rear triangle a bit and build it with 5-speed cogset. Seat tube is at the bottom end of my preferred length, so I need to consider carefully about how to do stem & bars that reach high enough for my more upright and high saddle tastes. It's a really light frame for steel construction: 2766 g frame and fork as shown. More photos here.

Wanted to get this one posted to the thread while it's still March. I've been working on restoring this bike for a few weeks after picking it up off the original owner. I finished wrapping the bars this morning. One day to spare. It's brown and gold - a 1985 Univega Nuovo Sport.

72 and sunny in Columbus, OH. A good day to take her out for a shakedown.

It is brown, and it will be a bike again. Posting it partly to motivate myself for the project. Early eighties Dawes Galaxy:

How about tan and brown?

I've had this Super Elite for sale for a while now and can't seem to get rid of it. After a big bike purge, it's now one of only two bikes!

Can't say I'm a fan of the color either, but I love these Super Elites with their Cyclone derailleurs and factory pin striping.

Once again, it’s March. Have you got any new brown or gold bikes? Or have you got any old brown or gold bikes?

Well yeah, you and me both.

I first need to finish a restoration project for a friend which I have just agreed upon. After that it'll be a toss-up between this Dawes and this Raleigh Super Course Mk II, which could also be easily mistaken for a brown bike, BTW, given the amount of rust.

Not vintage, but here is my 2008 Masi Speciale Commuter. I currently have it set up as a 7 speed with a down tube shifter.

A couple of 1973-4 CCMs have come along in the last year. Both are 5peed and awaiting some attention.

Likely have shown my 1971 Robin Hood "Sports Model" before but it is a unique "copper" colour and a personal favorite.

I refurbed this one for a friend last fall. It had sat outside for a number of years. Luckily, nothing was seized. The paint looked bad, but cleaned up nicely.

Brown AND gold? I guess one of mine qualifies.

Original equipment matched 1982 Campione d'Italia specs. Frame build date is late 1981. "Charcoal" color not found in catalog listing.
