So THAT'S Why I Had a Weak Training Ride!
Went out for a forty-miler yesterday that included six of my favorite steep hills, and didn't feel very strong. Couldn't get my heart rate or power up where they would normally be at this time of year. Even felt a little light-headed at the top of one climb. Assumed it was due to this cold that I've had for a week or so.
Today I figured out what's actually going on.

I have all those symptoms at times without the COVID. <grin>
Hope your case is mild and you are mostly in the recovery part.
I had it once at the end of 2020 and start of 2021. Absolutely do not want to go through that again.

Your doing good, when I got it in Nov 2020 I struggled getting out of the recliner to the bathroom and back to the recliner.... Took several months before I even threw a leg over the bike.. Good luck..

Seems like a perfectly acceptable excuse for a poor training ride. But you can only use it once!

Yep. C line is for Control...Get a T line and you're screwed. It's basically like a home pregnancy test in that regard.

Glad to hear you were well enough to ride at all! When I had it, I could barely get out of bed to pee for a week and a half. I never knew if my taste was affected because I was too weak to eat anything.

ironically, when i had covid i was FASTER on the bike because my heart rate was 10% higher across the board, and i basically had no other symptoms after a day or two of crushing fatigue. i’d had three shots of pfizer by then: so thankful for that.
