Alfine Di2 Question

Can anyone tell me if I can reverse the dished Nexus cog on a Di2 Alfine 11 speed? Again, this is specific to the Di2 version. I'm about to install the 18T cog and MU-S705 shifter motor on a new wheel. I'm using 3/32" BMX chain. I know that riders used to reverse the cog as necessary on the manual shift Alfine transmission to adjust the chainline. The Shimano dealer's manual for the Di2 version specifically illustrates having the soup-side of the dish face the transmission, but someone will have explored the road less travelled, and I invite you to share your wisdom. Thanks!

I assembled the hub/cog/shift-motor today and installed the wheel on the bike. The rear cog CANNOT be reversed on a Di2 Alfine transmission. On each side of the cog, there's >1mm clearance for my beefy 3/32" BMX single speed chain
