I guess dad wasn’t thinking about how this would look in 30 years on the C&V site with campy parts mixed with shimano.
I think he was just looking for a slightly taller more modern bike than his Colnago.
please note the lack of a seat binder. Works like a quill stem with the tightening bolt on top the seat post.
$800 plus bike flight shipping, unless you live in the NW or Bay Area. Shipping is a decent bottle of wine.

That there has all the earmarks of a 1985 Peugeot PSN10. Campy Triomphe drivetrain is original. Modolo Speedy brakes switched out for the 600s, which from what I hear, would have been an upgrade BITD. Rear wheel is some sort of semi-aero replacement to the original Mavic E. Great riding Super Vitus machine. GLWS!

I don't know what method Peugeot used, but a lot of makers used the distance from the middle of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube. For the middle of the BB, it is often easy to measure from the middle of the bolt that holds the crankset onto the bb.
Otherse used a distance from the middle of the bb to the middle of the top tube, but this is often harder to measure.

Looks much larger than my PSV-10, 1982, it’s 58.5 ctc. And the Super Vitus 980 is a sweet frame set. Good choice by your dad, good luck with the sale.

Looks to be about 2 cm too big for me, or else I'd be interested. I used to have a PSV 10 and stupidly sold it. If you like a light, flexible frame, it's pretty amazing.
If you want a stiff, heavier frame, search elsewhere.

Here are the sizes listed for the PSN 10 in the 1985 catalog. I would have guessed OP’s to be a 62cm but maybe 64cm is right.

May as well measure the toptube, center-to-center, and possibly standover height.
People like to see these dimensions. I recommend putting all these in the body of your original posting.
