10 vs. 11 Speed - Wheel Compatibility
I should know this as I got burned once before, but I can’t recall the details (maybe needed to rebuild a wheel as I needed a different hub).
I have GRX400 (10 sp) on my gravel bike. If I buy a second set of wheels that came on someone’s bike equipped with 11sp GRX will they work for me? I assume it may be as simple as spacers behind the cassette but want to be sure. I have a spare 10sp cassette

Thanks!
I found a local shop that has them in stock.
Now I have to think about existing 6-bolt hub and rotor and this second wheelset with Tiagra centre lock hubs and whether I can make all this work as a two wheelset bike ;-)

If you want to be able to use the same rotors on both wheels, Shimano and Problem Solvers offer an adapter to convert a centerlock hub to take 6-bolt rotors. Here is one source: https://www.performancebike.com/shim...hesdg4atqrgqhe

Careful with those disk brake adapters, I have encountered some alignment problems with those, causing brake dragging and vibration / screeching
