Great photos, which is mainly what I wanted to say. It looks like a good rider that might be attractive to a college student. $100???

They can go higher than $100 in hot markets. Do some local research if you can. Get a feel for similar bikes. Paint looks decent. Since it is in a stand I assume it has been serviced, but no guarantee so make sure to ask. Also make certain the seat post and he stem aren't frozen.

That is likely the Araya M-35 - Mixtie version. I sold Araya's for years and they are a good Japanese utilitarian bicycle. Not the quality of Fuji, but a great value. There is nothing particularly special about this bike and I think you should be able to acquire a bike like this for $50-100 in most locations. Mostly because there are a lot around. Cleaned up and tuned that would be a great multipurpose bike for commuting or recreational riding.

When doing pricing comparisons, focus less on brand and model, and more on basic construction. Compare to similar bikes, in similar condition. In my market, its about $50 as it sits. Depends on your location. When I lived close to a college, bikes like this would bring $200 easy.

Please don't confuse ebay "asking" prices with "selling" prices. Many sellers never get their ask price. some are far from it. Value is determined once an item actually SELLS. Its easy enough to check SOLD prices.

The rear tire looks new, the front tire appears to be not so new with cracked sidewalls. While it is in a Park rack as has been mentioned, I don't see a lot of evidence that the bike has been serviced well. However it is in reasonable survivor condition. In my market were I looking for a mixte for my wife I would be a buyer at $40 bucks but reasonable asking prices I suppose would be about $50 to $75.
