Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Oh man, sounds terrible. Time to start traveling with the hammock, a couple of eyehooks, a studfinder, drill, and spackle for afterwards.

Have you given them the test in that TikTok, where the lady took sips of water, vinegar, coffee, and Tabasco (or something along those lines?).

Had to cut my fake ride short to put out a couple on-call fires. Sigh. Gonna try some real miles tomorrow as it will be a smidge warmer and I can get one of my partners to cover for 2 hours.

High wind warning all over the area today, predicting 50 mph gusts in my area and 60 mph in other areas where i like to ride. I think I'll take the mtb out and give it a go. Seems a little calmer now than it was last night.

High winds all night and expected to continue throughout the day. We lost power sometime early this morning and it’s still not on. No coffee for me. Old dog isn’t bothered. Young dog is unsettled, but at least not barking at everything. Cat doesn’t give a damn…as is the nature of cats.

I didn't miss anything. I merely conveyed pertinent information from the 6 On Your Side Storm Team to you, the unappreciative reader.

I just conducted self-surgery and removed a splinter. Can I file an insurance claim and bill several hundred dollars?

Those typically look smaller than a road bike of the same size because the CX fork is taller, and headtube is shorter, so I think it's a 53 that looks like a 51.

A little breezy here, so felt really slow going north and east, then started heading west and felt like superman. Then I saw a brewery I'd never noticed, so now having a flight.
