This is like me every morning, looking out of the window and pondering if today is a fingerless gloves or a full fingered gloves day

For anyone thinking 'what pigs?' see....
I'm currently in the process of gathering info for a music themed London ride in the coming weeks, so this backdrop will likely feature again soon, The area has changed so much since the old power station featured as the back drop to that album cover at the end of the 70's, and as mentioned above its swanky flats there now, so there's as much chance of pigs flying as your average Joe being able to afford one of those.

Today I took the mtb up the mountain behind the house. It's about 3000 feet higher than the house and there is a partially paved road to the top of the ridge, then all dirt once there and on the other roads in the area.

View to the north, the next valley.

Getting ready for the final descent. 5 miles of rutted, rocky fun.

Two weeks ago I posted this pic from a foggy ride in the 'where did you ride today' thread that I took from London Bridge looking down the river towards Tower Bridge......

....I was out just after dawn this morning and took a pic of the same view, and safe to say it looked a bit different, good morning sun my old friend, looking forward to having you back again, roll on spring.

One of my favorite backcountry rides north of Cheyenne WY. Looking south on Telephone Road at Lodgepole Creek.

The Cheyenne to Deadwood stage line operated between 1876 and 1887 hauling gold from the Black Hills to the railhead in Cheyenne and passengers in both directions. It was a regular target of road agents who robbed the passengers and were occasionally able to open the "treasure" boxes and steal the gold. Drivers, guards, road agents and passengers were sometimes killed in the encounters.

I know everyone has privacy concerns on the interwebs but why don’t people update their User CPs so we can at least see the state they live in? I see these wonderful pictures but have no idea what state or area they were taken.
