I wonder how it happened, what would cause it to bend out that way.....that's not a front ender.

I love the ads where the picture has cactus growing behind the bike and the address says Boston. And if you switch over to another city you see the same ad with a different address.

Don't laugh. He'll have takers. We built a rock wall bordering our driveway and most of the rock we got free from Craigslist. This was from the first ad. There were more ads.

It's not that someone is selling rocks is funny, it's the composition of the ad. We buy rocks on craigslist. We met a guy who owns his own quarry. It was fun to visit.

I understood that, but was letting people know that rocks on CL are generally not a laughing matter. There were folks lined up to pick from this guy's pile.

Yes, I was referring to the genesis of its manufacture. I use stones in my landscape so understand their worth. I would have picked them up except for the fact that picking them up would be the issue. Granite that size is well north of 200#.

"The Wacky World of Craigslist and eBay Ads" a great thread to check if you're ever bored. I just wonder what it would be like to actually meet some of these sellers and see their states of mind.

I like this ad. No one who has any respect for their bikes would place one like this, especially not for a sales ad. Tempted to ask seller if he drinks paint

Rare 10-speed stayer Pug with a fork done by Hetchins, apparently. Good for a supple ride and some variety in cadence on those long Derny pulls?

Obviously bent, but the fix was to bend it worse in order to make it rideable. Front wheel and fork blades got pushed back and needed to be fixed, so the whole shebang was pushed forward somehow, bending the fork blades above the damaged area and bending the fork blades forward just below the fork crown, thereby placing the front axle about where it should be for normal riding. As a mechanic with a modest history of half-assery behind me, I gotta admire that fix.

Nice enough machine at a decent price but check out those wheels and those cantilever brakes.
