SRAM Force AXS 1x12. New Chain Sizing?
2021 Specialized Tarmac Pro w/SRAM Force AXS 1x12. SRAM Force AXS 12sp w/flattop cain, Love it.
Time for a new chain. Need some advice on what the best method for sizing a chain is for this setup. On my prior SHIMANO 105 Groupset I would use the "Big-Big and add 2' method. Im reading some differing methods and opinions as it relates to SRAM Force, and im a bit confused.

SRAM has documentation for this and you should follow it. It’s still the large large plus two method with suspension bottomed out.
Box published an alternative method for 1x that used the longest chain to make tension in top gear with the suspension topped out. It ensures you’ll have enough chain for the RD’s biggest rated cassette. But it’s only for 1x derailleurs where the top pulley shares the axle with the cage pivot, and the method above is more conventional
