My '81 710. I still have the original seat, rear derailleur and handlebars.
Not in pristine condition but a joy to ride.

1981 Miyata 610--original except for crankset. I've also got an 86 912 that I bought up as a bare frame and built up with mostly Suntour Cyclone level parts, but no photo.

My '91 Koga-Miyata GentsRacer Carbolite, photographed near Hotel New York in Rotterdam. I visited R'dam due to the TdF Prologue and I and my friends enjoyed lunch at Hotel New York, the place were many immigrants had left for a new start in a new world ages ago.
My friends bikes were a mid 80s Ritchey TimberComp and a mid 90s Ibis Hakkalugi. We made many miles and Amsterdam was another destination on our journey. We were in the pub when the Brazilians were beat by the Dutch national team, so you could imagine everybody was in positive mood.

1981 Myata 610
I traded an older steel raleigh capri for this. I replaced the handlebars due to the Sakae Rand. bars were way tiny for me. 58 cm. I have the original seat, bars, stem, brake levers(upgraded also) and pedals. I just recently replaced the bottom bracket. Not bad for almost 30 years old. I RIDE THIS THING NONSTOP. So comfortable. I took it to my bike mechanic for the first time and he warned me to NEVER let this go unless I could get a 1000 of near the same year. I had a hard time trying to ID it. The 82 does not have this type of brakes and the 81 in the catalog does .not have the suicide shifters. The 1000 of the same year has this type of shifter. Best I can tell is someone changed it to the suicide shifters from stem mounted shifters near the time it was purchased?

Miyata "Ninety", 1024 hi-ten steel frame and fork, Shimano "Biopace" crank, Suntour F and RD. No idea what year (see serial #) Picked up from FreeCycle (apt name). C-T measurement of about 56cm. Way too small for me. Needs to be cleaned up.

'85 310. Almost entirely original I believe. Arrow Motif 105. 27" wheels.
