Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Also thinking about getting a miniature car with 42mpg hwy. I have a feeling I'd have to take both wheels off of a MTB to get it in there tho

Maybe if I essentially fold the passenger seat forward I'd only have to remove the front wheel?

That bridge must have come out of no where.

Maybe he though the clearance sign was in meters.

Maybe he can’t read numbers

Hope it’s not his first day. Short career.

I don’t do it but every several years, but I enjoy playing multiple Blackjack hands in casinos. Craps too at times, but not as much.

Got called an Ass hole this morning. Wasn’t even going to bring it up but I’m still upset about it.

On the MUP this morning, and this guy is walking his dog. Pretty normal, except he is in the grass on one side of the mup and his dog is in the trees on the opposite side of the mup. The leash was stretched straight across like a close line.

I called approaching, No response, so I then scream passing left. He couldn’t even get his dog reeled in. I had to basically come to a complete stop, and he calls me an ass hole. All I said, “if a collision was going to happen I’m hitting you and not your dog”.

The world is more populated than ever in history and people still walk around like they are the only ones in it.

500 feet later I come up on a group of elderly taking up the whole path. Got the deer in the headlights while they can’t figure out what to do.

Keep in mind, this is a designated “Bike path”. Bike path was the intent, not bird watcher path, not let my dogs run free path.

anyways it’s only May, it will get worse.

Be careful in those situations. If you go too fast and require a sudden stop, your discs will heat up so much your spokes will break, and you will crash. Either that or the discs will slice thru your limbs like a hot knife thru butter.

But before that, you'd never have stopped in time and crashed and asploded in a Michael Bay fireball. So it's really a "pick your poison" situation.

If I had been more talented, I could see myself enjoying music education. High school or above. Not kids.

I avoid them at all costs while in the USA. Here, recreational cycling isn't a thing, so it's not an issue.
