Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

no more drunk biking

because I got slammed by a ford taurus. and I was on my nice bike. and it was totally my fault and I feel like an idiot so no need to point that out to me. Im lucky. My bike is perfectly fine because my body toook all the shock but I am fine as well. Just kinda rolled over the car and it was over before I realized what happened. Guess I'll go look for a helmet now.

well at least this was a good way to realize that. Neither you or the bike were hurt so maybe its a message from Dog? Did the driver freak out?

look at it this way ... be happy you were drunk if you stay relaxed during that ****, your body can handle it so much better. that's why drunk drivers almost never get hurt. then again, if you were sober, it wouldn't have hapened. don't beat yourself up about it though. sxe kids do dumbass stuff too.

+1 to this. I had to bike about 1.5 miles home from a friend's place and I was so drunk that I could hardly tell I was riding a bike.

Ride buzzin'? No problem. Some drivers might have absurd things yelled at them, but no problems.
ride after a party with multiple jager shots, beers, all way too fast - not a good idea.

Driving or riding drunk is stupid, plain and simple.

Glad you are OK. Just don't think about getting a helmet . just don't ride buzzed.

S/F,
CEYA!
