Ciocc Mockba 80?

Does anyone know what tube sets were used for the early Mockba 80 framesets. The ones that had clamp on front derailleurs?

TIA
Charlie

Hi P!N20 and Dean51, is that SL tubing for all early Ciocc Mockba 80 frames? I just got an early Ciocc frameset and I cannot make out the Columbus sticker, although it is definitely there. Thank you for the input.

There was one for sale in Sacramento. The decal was early Aelle and there were no ridges in the steerer to indicate anything else. I passed on it and it has since sold best I know.

I recall seeing early advertisements stating that the Mockba 80 used the full Columbs SL set. Then I saw an advertisement showing a bicycle with Aelle and Mockba 80 decals. At that point, I changed my thinking to Mockba 80 being more of a palmares decal. Now, whenever I see a claimed Mockba 80, I check the seat post size and examine the inside bottom of the fork's steerer tube. If it has a 27.2mm seat post and helical ridges inside the the bottom of the steerer tube, then you know it's at least full SL.
