9-speed Shimano-compatible trigger shifter that only shifts one gear at a time
1. Is the Box Three Prime 9 9-speed single-gear-shift-per-shift shifter compatible with Shimano derailleurs? I mean, does it have the same cable pull per shift? It is available at modernbike DOT com SLASH box-three-prime-9-shifter---9-speed-single-shift-matte-black (sorry I would post a proper link but the forum won't let me)
2. Does anyone else sell Shimano-derailleur-compatible trigger shifters that only shift one gear at a time?
Thanks.

It says right on the page that it is only compatible with Box rear derailleur (Shimano is not listed so NOT compatible).
Not sure what you mean by a shifter that shifts one gear at a time. They all shift 1 gear at a time. You can push some levers in further to shift 2-3 times, is this what you are referencing? Not sure why you would NOT want this, very handy when needing to shift gears quickly.

Thank you!
Yes, I want the shifter to only be able to shift one gear when I press the trigger. Often I press it and it shifts two gears and then I have to shift it back one gear. It's annoying and takes energy. Mostly I'm riding on pavement - so big gear jumps aren't common. I can see how on steep trails that would be handy.

I would just not press it so hard you are getting double shifts. I tend to just shift once unless I need more than one gear. I could get a thumbshfiter, Microshift makes one but I don't know if that will totally solve your issues?
