FYI Light Weight Master Link Breaker

Found an economical ChiCom Light Weight Master Link Breaker Tool that actually works. I made a few of these out of old 14ga spokes but they did not hold up well. These are much stronger and have just enough strength to pop open Split Master Links. They take a few weeks to get here but are worth it and are proven...

Note: I quit reusing my split master links after a few removals just to be on the safe side. Also I receive no remuneration for this post

This way is cheaper

I use to use a binder clip before I bought the tool.

I use small channel locks on mine when they don't break by hand.

You can break them by hand, i.e., without any tools? If that is the case, aren't they too loose to keep using?

Mine have been loose since the second or third time I reused them. Now it's been more than 10 times and probably closer to 20 reuses. As long as you don't pedal backwards or ride a fixie, I think they're fine. When one fails and I hurt myself, I'll definitely post my experience here....
