Centurion Pro Tour 15
1983(?) Centurion Pro Tour 15.
I measure 54cm center-to-center seat tube, 55.5 cm top tube--- these bikes seem to have a pretty stretched-out geometry. Still way too small for me.
I cleaned it up a little bit and added new bar tape, but otherwise the bike needed very little. Previous owner put on some replacement Cane Creek brake hoods which actually fit pretty well. Paint and chrome are very nice, no rust that I can find, just a few scrapes. 27" wheels. Tires are OK but on the old side.
Brake blocks are old and dry so you'd probably want to replace those before doing any serious riding. No pedals in the pictures, but I have the touring pedals somewhere and they will be included. Suntour Cyclone II rear mech, Mountech front, Sugino AT triple crank. Suntour "symmetric" shifters.
$300 plus actual shipping. I can upload more pictures if desire.

I've never seen one of these ProTours in person before, and I'm impressed by how nice the lugs are, just the overall presentation of the bike is quite lovely.
But dang it, I am trying to reduce the size of the pile.... after years of relative acceptance my wife is finally giving me quizzical looks every time she happens to go into the basement where the bikes live...
So the goal here is definitely N-1...... (However I'm usually a 58 or a 60, with top tubes in the 56-58 range....)
Bike is currently in Boston MA, though I will be in VT for most of the summer.

Sheldon Brown called the Centurion Pro Tour the best production touring bike of the era.

Absolutely gorgeous example of the early Centurions...they were really beautiful before the Ironman Miami Vice era...
This might be the only bike of this vintage I can say would look great with all black tyres...
Extra long derailluer drop with the chrome touches everywhere. What a great bike. And thankfully not my size.
Having not ridden one, I am going to say that it seems to have the same geometry as my Bianchi Randonneur...which is a super thing. 27' tyre goodness!

It's a lovely bike indeed-- if it were my size I'd keep it for sure. I have an orange Centurion Semi-Professional in nowhere near as nice shape as this one, and it's on my keeper list.
At the moment Hobbiano has dibs on this bike.
