McMaster Carr!

Ordered some 1/2" tubing today. I usually pick it up but it was not available locally. The salesman said it would be transferred to the Cleveland warehouse for pickup Monday.
He calls back 39 minutes later and says it is only in sto in Atlanta and he is having it shipped to me free!
Great customer service!!!

What part of the Cleveland area are you in? I lived out near Amherst for 8 years and have great memories. And Joe Bringheli was/is in Parma. Have you hooked up with him? I'd love to know how he's doing after his stroke a while back.

I deal with them in a non-cycling context, but they are an amazing outfit. They ship UPS ground but I can order at the end of the day and have it arrive the next morning. Given the volume of stock they carry, their speed in picking and shipping is incredible.

Went to give my old Silca pump a rebuild/refresh and got enough hosing (of much higher quality) to build up 5-6 pumps with twice the hosing length from them as it would have cost to get a single (what I consider to be too short) hose from Silca. Good folks.

I have not connected with Joe since his stroke. I heard he was in Florida.
Have had him do a few frame things in the past but since I took a frame building course I'm able to do it myself.
