Veloflex Master 25
I installed the Veloflex Master 25 I received in the mail yesterday. Due to time I only mounted the front for now. They weren't as bad to install as I had thought they would be from others reports; they are directional and I didn't notice until after I mounted it (wrong of course). I measured them and I came up with 23mm width mounted on my Mavic G40 rim so I'm wondering if they may be 23's that Veloflex re-labeled.
Has anyone measured their 23's? Do they run thinner than labeled?

I've never put a caliper on veloflex tires but they seem narrower than other tires of comparable sizes. They also seem to have a rounder more consistent radius.

Yeah... the Specialized Turbo Pro 25's I took off measured 26+ and with the black wall looked chunky on the bike. The Veloflex looks MUCH better.

I just checked a pair of the 23s I installed on my Peugeot PSN-10T a few months ago. At 120 psi they measure 21.5 mm with my dial caliper.
They look great but sure wish I could get outside and see how they ride.
Looks like temps below zero again tonight so no progress on melting the snowpack.

The gum walls definitely look better!

Yes, they have been replaced by the Corsa Race. Recently mounted a pair of Corsa Evo's (which are a little heavier than the Race and intended for more all-round use) in 28 mm on my main bike and can highly recommend them.

Try this site. A few extra dollars than what I would normally see these sell at a few years ago.

Thanks for the info. At 75 per, I’m out! Loved when these could be had for $23-30. Will try the corsa evo though.

Similar tire to a veloflex is the Vittoria Corsa. Around $45 per.

I'm always hunting for the veloflex master 25s. I've got 1 new and 1 slightly used pair in my stash for future use.
First place I find them at decent price I'll most likely clean them out.

Thanks for that @pcb but we're looking for the predecessor of the Corsa Evo.
The Master 25 has become a bit of a unicorn.

The Masters are just wonderful tires, and I expect the Corsa EVO will be too.
I was just listening to an Outspoken Cyclist podcast from January, where the editor of BRAIN was discussing the availability of bike parts, and he did mention that parts might be hard to get through 2021. As such, if anyone is wondering if they ought to pick up a few spares, I think the answer is "yes".

The Corsa EVO replaced the Master SPS. The SPS is Sidewall Protection System that was introduced for carbon rims a year or so ago.
