I've been working this past week on it. All new bearings in bottom bracket, head set and wheel hubs. Cleaned it up a bit and put a new seat on it. Just waiting for a new chain and bar tape

Wow, that is spectacular. I’d be interested in what kind of bar tape will be used.

I had this same bike for many years. Started out in great condition but after 12 years of abuse as a daily commuter the paint was shot and almost all the components replaced. Here's the original ad for that bike. Came in pink too.

I think the '84 had the prettiest color combination and lettering of all the Team years....and so did my oldest daughter so it's now a PNW'er

Bikes: Wow, where to start? A collection of 1980's and early 90's road, touring, and MTBs from the likes of Trek, Schwinn, Cannondale, Fuji, Miyata, Univega, Panasonic, and GT. It has gotten rather out of control.

You must have a TALL daughter! She has great taste. That is also my favorite color combo and my size. I had a 1985 Club in the red & yellow a while back.

She is, and has felt self conscious on bikes that may have been just a tad small for her, so that was part of the appeal. We lowered the seat and brought the bars back to horizontal - she's happy with it.
