As much as I promised myself that I'd make the pilgrimage to MT in 2022 as my first post-retirement big bike adventure, it will need to wait until 2023. 
Mrs. PB have very fluid plans in July which could/should make us more settled moving forward.

Many of you may know that the guy in red, below is none other than the famous Bob Freeman, retired co-owner of Elliott Bay Cycles in partnership with Bill Davidson and owner of >100 immaculate vintage bikes, many fully restored. This makes him the Face of Cino.
What is lesser known is that the fellow that Bob is chasing down a bit further down the road is me. That makes me the A$$ of Cino.

The old Grizzly does have its charms but, as someone else here said, “this growing old stuff is getting serious.” Might try it on one of the days. We have his and hers AD Vent Noirs now anyway and we’ll probably just go with those.
I do have another though. It’s cool but probably goes well beyond what would be allowed even with a bribe. I was thinking of mounting some old dummy friction shift levers on the bars to conceal the dreadfully reliable SRAM X-0s but, as a teacher, you’d probably see right through that ploy.
Can barely see ‘em.

I had no idea they were even made - that’s pretty cool! At least they didn’t do disc brakes!

I am registered, but in looking at some family commitments and my lack of fitness I am not attending this year.
this is a bummer, but I think best decision, after one year of DNF I want to be strong next time I ride this.
If anyone is interested I will be cancelling my reservations at Symes later today, so there will a room with a shower opening up.
